I completely agree the Shoei is quieter. I also agree that it is 
probably the way the visor mounts. BUT on my head the Arai is way 
more comfy. And in the final analysis I went with comfort. Plus Shoei 
doesn't have the totally cool Read Replica which is the perfect match 
for my Black ST :-))
