Yup, it was me. I've included the original message below. I have a diary
note to call them on 1 Nov to check on progress. That'll be about 4 weeks
since the last time I spoke to them.

Subject: StainTune pipe on the way

Just got off the phone from my regular call to the pipe importers /
manufacturers and there is good news. StainTune has a pipe on the way.
They could even tell me some prelim dyno numbers so it's not vaporware!

The rough info thus far

Low-set round stainless and carbon for use with luggage
High-rise short oval stainless and "probably" carbon
Low-set's should be ready in about 4 weeks
High-rise a couple of weeks later

The prelim dyno number were from a "young" bike so they only tested to
7,000 rpm. But, they recorded a 6 hp increase at the wheel using the
Triumph tune (didn't ask which tune) with a 4 kg decrease in weight. And
they tell me it sounds sensational.

Pricing should be $600 to $700 Aussie ($390 to $460 US). Please note that
this is very early info and not a formal announcement from StainTune.
Also, I don't work for them or speak for them but can't wait to get their
pipe on my bike!

Bambi - getting excited.
