Yes, just to back this up, my new Y2K ST just had the headlights wired
yesterday and the mechanic fitted two relays to do the job.

For any with the Y2K ST's getting both lights to work has got harder.
Where as on the 99 model it was just a matter of a new Y cable, the
Y2K model requires the fitting of relays.

Do not just patch into the standard wiring, it will not handle the current.
