electric vest and heated grips question

Question:  So what did you say about use of that outlet by the
fairing? You did mean for an electric vest right? Are you using heated grips
and electric vest? Does anyone know if that is too much of a load on the
electrical system?

Answer:  It works fine.  A vest only draws about 4 amps.  I use my electric
vest and heated handgrips at the same time with no problems.  I would think
it is a different circuit anyway, and hopefully the charging system is
engineered with the extra electrical load in mind.
