Not ST related

Hi guys,
I hope I am not getting too far off subject, but I am looking for some
advice on two bikes I am considering for my wife to ride. I will now
mention that they are the Yamaha YZF-R6 and the Honda CBR600-F4. If you
know anything about these bikes please read on. If not, please accept
my apologies for taking up ST space and move on to the next message.

If you are still reading at this point I would like to hear any
comments about which of these two bikes is better. The intended use
will be strictly street riding and no track time. I have been leaning
toward the Honda as I believe it is a better all around bike and will
have a better resale value down the road. My wife fits best on the
Yamaha because it has a very small frame and weighs less. She is 5"6"
and weighs about 105 lbs. so weight is a big factor for her.
I would prefer to see her on a Triumph, but they are all too big and
the new T6 is not yet available. She rode my ST with the suspension
lowered as far as it would go but the bike was still too high and wide
for her. I really don't like Japanese bikes that much, but they seem to
be the only ones that fit her.
Please help me make an educated purchase.

Thanks,
Dan

PS. I am still working on the ST mirror vibration problem as I found my
last brace to be too difficult to make although it worked quite well. I
am attempting to make an adjustable brace between the mirrors that would
fit behind the gauges. If it works the front cowling would need to be
removed in order to fit it, but it should be totally invisible. Stay
tuned for updates.
