Congrats on your purchase on not only a mighty fine bike, but by =
purchasing the BLACK one you are in a small group of folks with a rare =
find. You see there not many BLACK ones out there and they really are =
FASTER! You are gonna love it.

After subscribing to thie list for several months now while thinking =
if the Sprint was REALLY the bike I wanted, I went and made the leap =
yesterday! I had stopped by a local dealer (Marin BMW/Ducati/Triumph) =
to see if they knew when they were to receive their Y2K shipments, =
specifically blue. When I walked in and saw a '99 black model sitting =
without a "Don't sit on me I'm sold" tag I got even more curious. I =
inquired about the blue and was told to come on in the back to see the =
one they just uncrated that morning. Let me state that it is a stunning =
shade of blue. Brilliant, in fact. Just not the blue I was hoping for. =
We started talking about the black beauty on the floor and I was told =
they could knock another $500US off the list price. Then, as a =
sweetener, they would throw in the seat cowl. And the topper? They =
happened to have the CF pipe in stock along with the heated grips. I =
would only have to wait for the panniers. Sold! This was the bike I =
was dreaming of the past few months. Handles wonderfully, power for =
days, and comfortable. I didn't care for the 3500 RPM limit on the way =
home but I understand the need. =20
=20
I've been reading this list for a while now but felt I couldn't =
contribute until I actually owned one. Now that I do I feel more a part =
of things. Glad to be here!
