Oh boy.....
I think I'm the only other one on this list to have this problem (and now you're
number two, congrats!).

So far I've come to a few conclusions: It's not a bad fuel pump (my dealer
swapped another one and same problem). It's worse when the temp is colder. It's
worse when there is less then a full tank. I've had some suction problems when
opening the filler cap and the buzzing seems worse when this is happening. I
seem to be having lower gas milage than others on this list (around 40-45 MPG
HWY/twisties, 30 city).

So: My theories center around an improper venting from the tank (I have a CA
spec bike). My dealer has informed Triumph but since it doesn't seem to be a
common problem and it doesn't seem to be a performance-affecting issue, I have
little faith anything will be done about it.

 Are you in CA (see above CA spec bike theory)? Let me know if you get anywhere
with your dealer or your own wrenching. I plan to sit down in my garage one of
these weekends and see if I can find any blockages in the vent lines, etc....

you know the noise when you first turn the key on for a couple seconds and it
stops,priming of the system i suppose. well lately the noise doesnt stop does
any one have this problem or have any tips why this is happening?
