It is the same with the Triumphs - somewhere in the neighborhood of $380 
US. If the dealer decides not to charge you for this then he is out the money.

I agree completely with you here. How much did your dealer charge you for 
undercoating ? ;-)

I agree - I wonder the same thing myself when I look at their margins and 
then figure in operating costs ....  (and poor warranty reimbursements). 
One of the major mags had an article this spring that was written about 
discount parts suppliers and the effect it could have on the local 
dealers.... I'll see if I can find it and post some of the info that was in it.
