Re: Moto-Clothing

I've got the Kilamanjaro Jacket (long version of the shorter Kenya Jacket). I have
found it to be well vented and reasonably cool in the desert heat (up to 100F). I
also haven't had any problems in light steady rain, but haven't run into heavy rain
yet. The removable fleece liner is very nice and has kept me very toasty.
Unfortunately, I have road tested the Kilamanjaro at 35MPH---fortunately, no damage
to body parts covered by the jacket and the armor. The jacket survived with little
noticeable damage (except the torn belt) and would probably protect at much higher
speeds, though I wouldn't go racing with one. I am also looking for over pants.
I'm not thrilled with the First Gear pants as they don't have a removable liner and
aren't vented for summer use. Triumph Sypatex Frontiers Pants have a removable
liner and are less expensive than the First Gear pants, but my dealer doesn't stock
them so haven't been able to try them on yet.
