Hi all,
I have read with interest you all discussing the price of bikes in the =
US, to help I've converted some prices this side into US$ (=A31.00 =
=3D$1.66).

New ST =A38349 OTR (On The Road) or $13860.00
New Tiger =A36395 OTR or $10615
New Daytona =A38349 OTR or $13860.00
New RS =A37000 to =A37500 or $11620 to $12450

So if you can drive away a new ST for less than $13000.00 you are paying =
a lot less than you would in the country that make them. It sounds like =
those nice US dealers pay you to ride them out of their dealerships. I =
bought my ST 3 months ago, when it was 3 months old, from its previous =
owner, no dealer mark up here!, with side panniers, back rack, fork =
protectors, tank pad, hugger and front mudguard extension for =A37300 =
($12120) which was a good deal, new from a dealer with all the bits =
would have been about =A39500 ($15770).

Still on the subject of price, I've just got a Aerostich Roadcrafter =
suit, $667 in the US, this side of the pond, =A3420, however on top of =
that you have Tax and import duty which makes it =A3600 or $996!! The =
suit is great, well worth the US price, but 50% more I don't know.

Don
