Cockpit removal

Hey,
	Anybody removed a cockpit out of their ride yet?
	I was attempting to adjust my head lamps the other night and failed.
I can get to the top screw adjusters for my lamps because of some bracket I
think.  I used both a screw driver and a socket to no avail.
	I will go out and buy a small wrench set before I try to remove the
pit but was wondering if some one has done it and can give pointers.
