     I have the Triumph Veto alarm, but according to the manufacturers, it 
     only draws 3 or 4 milliamps, so a fully charged battery should be able 
     to run it for nearly two months.
     
     I also have the Factory alarm installed. The bike was in my garage for 
     nearly three weeks with the alarm armed while I was on vacation 
     recently and started crisply on the button when I returned. There is 
     no way the alarm should flatten the battery over such a short period 
     unless it is being set off.
