New Thread? Bike/Bike Comm's

I believe this is a new thread, or at least one that wasn't hashed out
much. Lisa and I have Chatterbox communicators installed on our
helmets, but are interested in upgrading to something we can communicate
CLEARLY with at highway speeds and for distances up to 2 miles minimum.
The chatterbox does well enough at medium speeds and distances up to
around 1/4 mile. But wind noise takes over making understanding at
speeds over 45 mph a challenge. Even sitting still, it is hard to
understand occasionally.
I am a little familiar with the Autocomm, J&M, and Collet systems, but
would appreciate some feedback from those with experience, especially if
you have direct experience with multiple units allowing a direct
comparison.
I am leaning towards the Autocom system as it has "noise canceling"
technology incorporated. Does this really work and is it worth the
price - bear in mind I have to equip 2 bikes. That said, I only want to
buy one more system and I want it to be RIGHT!
Also, any recommendations on transceiver selection would be welcome as
well.
