Neil,
I drilled the fender without any paint cracking, etc. The supplied =
plastic pop rivets work just great and they're going to secure the =
extension mechanically. For my money this is much more confidence =
inspiring than leaving it solely up to an adhesive. Its really a very =
simple installation.

in my oil cooler and radiator, but I see that you are supposed to drill =
holes in the fender and use four plastic pop rivets (supplied) to secure =
it.

I don't really like the prospect of drilling the fender, but I can't =
imagine any kind of glue being up to the job. Does anyone have any =
better ideas?
