Re: SUVs & Goop



Had the same problem. I found at the local auto parts store a double 
sided tape that is used for attaching auto moldings. Covered the back 
of the tank pad and it is on, I mean ON. I made sure to ring the 
circumference of the pad and then as much of the other area as 
possible. It can come off but not easy. The trick is to THROUGHLY 
clean the tank and the pad with alcohol. Then put the tape on the 
tank pad and let sit over night. Then apply when the temp is over 60. 
Let it sit for a couple of hours and you are good to go.
