That price sounds about right. I got all that except the
ThrottleMeister (I use a Throttle Rocker instead), plus an alarm, tall
screen and pannier liners for just over $14K as I recall.

I agree with your analysis. Shortly after buying my ST my wife asked me
if I thought I'd chosen the right bike, or if I was to do it again given
an essentially unlimited budget would I pick something else. I answered
that the ST was the right bike for me.
Periodically I ask myself the same question as I see more bikes and read
more about them. I still believe I've made the right choice. I have no
doubts.
