RE: Engine Management Light

>>However, tonight when I started the bike to come home the yellow "Engine
Management" light came on and stayed on. Everything seemed fine so I rode
home (about 10 miles).

Within the first couple days of getting my 2000 ST, I had the interesting
experience of the engine management light coming on after getting home from
a ride and then staying on all night, key in the ignition or not. It was a
little disconcerting. Nothing seemed wrong however, and once the bike was
started the light went out. Two days later it stopped, and when I had it
checked out by the mechanic he could find nothing wrong and no code failure.
The light has never come on since.
