Re: Shock for sale

Brett,

Just sent out a long reply to someone else about the installation of the
Ohlins. I spent a track day a week and a half ago and know that I'm no
Mladin or Fogarty, but the Ohlins is such a fine piece of equipment that it
has to improve handling, especially with the amount of torque the bike
generates at the low end, I believe it will help keep it planted in the
turns and smooth out the transitions. Honestly, its snowing, I just
completed the install yesterday so I don't have immediate feedback about the
ride.

I'll let the group know what I notice within the next couple of weeks.
Much of this is also going to depend on what I find out about overall
handling once I get rid of the front stock suspension and replace with Race
Tech. If Progressive springs could help the front end of my 'ol Concours,
I'm sure that Race Tech and Ohlins are going to make a very nice improvement
on the ST.

Late, Lance
