Speaking of coolant leaks, I am wondering about the more serious one that 
some listers have reported from the radiator. It was suggested that "radiator 
putty" should be carried in case a roaside fix is needed, The nearest thing I 
have been able to find in my auto parts store is some 2-component epoxy 
stuff, which is said to harden to the consistency of cast iron, and is 
recommended for everything under the sun except radiators. Would this work?
