	Mine was flat recently at about 3,000 miles. Fortunately it was at the
shop when it was discovered, and they merely had to pull out a small metal
shard and repair the tire. I went to Austin and back this past weekend on it
(about 400 miles total) with no troubles.

	I had Metzelers on my Suzuki SV650, ME-Z4's to be exact. They stuck
very well, but the bike seemed to wander a bit at freeway speeds. Of course,
that bike is almost 100 pounds lighter and has over 2 inches shorter wheelbase,
too*. Both of those factor si would feel outweight the tire profile when it
comes to the wandering. The BT57's are fine for superslab, but I've had some
slippage when I felt I really wasn't pushing the bike very hard. I must agree
with the prevailing opinion on the list: the stock rubber sucks. If you have an
excuse and can afford to, change it. For my money it's the Dunlop D205 if
you're after mileage, or the D207 if you're more into sticking in tight
situations.

*  The '99 Suzuki SV650 has a 55.7" wheelbase and weighs 364 pounds dry - very
flickable. The TT600 I had an opportunity to sit on felt the same way.

YMMV,
