Eric,
Just a minor clarification: Canadian Triumph dealers are serviced directly
from the factory in Hinckley; not through Triumph of America. Parts
delivery typically now takes about 7 days, which is actually quicker than
last year when we had a Canadian Triumph distributor located in New
Brunswick - go figure! Parts prices are also now lower since they shut
down the Canadian distributorship last fall.
FWIW, as other listers have noted, blue-painted parts are also currently
back-ordered here in Canada: I'm still waiting for my blue panniers and
seat cowling; all other accessories were readily available.
Regards,
Paul Wilson
Toronto, Canada
PS. The riding season has finally arrived here in Toronto - hurray! A
week of hard, steady rain has washed away all the winter road salt and sand
and temperatures are now in the 20 degree C range . . . yippee!!!!
.
