carbon fiber and heat



Jeff,

The resins used would be the same resins used in making fiberglass.  The
thing to do, is get the thinner adhesive heat shielding like they are using
on the 2000 Sprint ST's.  and line the inside of the belly pan.  This
should eliminate most if not all deterioration from heat.  Since Jack
Lilley is in the business of making money and since these are not
structural items I would think that the resin used is Polyester resin (the
most common and least expensive resin).
