Eric,
I seem to remember maybe two posts from list members who had problems
with the rear caliper sticking on, which caused the pads to rub
constantly. If this were the case it would surely be covered by
warranty.
Either way I don't buy that a disintegrating brake seal is not covered
by warranty on a new bike. This is a safety issue!

The dealer in South Dakota took a look and found the piston seals
almost totaly disentegrated.
