What are you using for fuel?  These bikes need something better than
"Regular" -- at least a mid-grade.

The rule I use is if the station is a one-hose station (all fuel grades come
through the same hose at the pump) I use premium because I don't know what
residual fuel type is in the hose.  Otherwise I use mid-grade.

The first fillup I did when the bike was new I used regular and then it
pinged.
