Rallye and State Farm Insurance

Woohoo. On my way to the Rallye. A couple days of sailboat racing in
Baltimore and then down Skyline Drive and the Parkway next week. Ten
days away from work on the bike (and a boat). I may call back and tell
them to sell the house, put the money in an account, and just keep
riding. Hope everyone has a safe trip to the Ridge.

Steve Lawler asked about SF. I have my house, truck, Harley, and Sprint
with SF. 3 of the 4 agents I've dealt with over the years have been
great. In 98 I went down on the Harley while avoiding a cage.
Shattered my right wrist, broke my left thumb, and out of work for ten
weeks. I didn't hit the cage so everything was on me. SF was great.
Loss of wages comes out of the medical portion of the coverage. Since
SF paid better, 100% salary immediately, than my employer, SF asked the
medical billers if they could wait. This allowed me to get loss of
wages for the entire 10 weeks, then whatever medical coverage was left
would kick in. When that limited out my health care coverage would kick
in. Except for the injuries it was all very painless. Took the Harley
to the dealer and SF didn't require extra estimates or cause any other
difficulties in delaying repairs. Can't be pleased more with them.
