    It certainly shouldn't do that - is the valve stuck open?
Definitely worth a call to the manufacturer - I've heard they're very
helpful.

    The rubber bumpers which hold the top box in place get compressed
after a while.  I bought some little sticky rubber patches from a DIY
shop (they're intended to stop cupboard doors from banging shut) and
they've made a huge difference.
