RE: Oil Leak

Well, for those of you following my leak problem and those who have
responded with help, thanks, (even though many of the replies had a
demeaning tone).

I took the side and bottom panel off, as well as the front sprocket cover.
Beneath the sprocket cover was a slight build-up of chain wax, but
absolutely no oil. There was no oil even near the front sprocket. The
fresh oil which is leaking appeared to be coming from the area just beneath
the sprocket cover. There is an electrical plug (oil temp sensor?) and a
painted hex bolt with a brass washer directly to the right of it. The oil
seemed to be centered around these two items. Both were tight. I cleaned
up the area and checked an hour or so later for fresh oil and found none. I
will check again tonight.
Can anyone tell me what the electric plug is and what the hex bolt might be?

Thanks,
Mike Omaha
