We ran out of temperature here Friday, and ended up running a
temperature deficit (-3F), with 30 mph winds, we have had six
snowstorms so far (which is about par for a year, at least in
the mild winters of the last decade), and we have 18" of snow 
on the ground.  My brother is in Anchorage, and they have it
better so far than we do.

Where's global warming when you need it?
