Price differences

Robert:
There is a $1K difference in price between the RS and ST here in the Eastern US. Remember that you get a double sided swingarm, NO centre stand, smaller fairing (in width), mirrors that are useless, an unfinished fibreglas cockpitfairing/instrument panel with the RS. You cannot mount the hard panniers as an afterthought on the RS. The silencer does not swivel downward.
The ST has the singe sided swingarm, centrestand & allows for mounting of hard panniers and hardware. Better protection from the elements cause the fairing is wider and bars are less radical than the RS.
Ride 'em and look at what you get for your money.
