for Bocadawg - MerryChristmas

 Congrats on your new RS, you'll love it! And FWIW it's LUCIFER
Orange (like mine)! When you can stand to get off it long enough,
check the VIN number to see it is in the recall sequences for the
chain and fuel sender replacements and whether those have been done.
Mine has 7,000+ miles now and is just getting broken-in, especially
the transmission. Also make sure the break-in oil and filter have
been changed (probably have); if not get the synthetic in soon.

 We have a bunch of RS owners down here in So. Calif., so if you have
any questions (yes,... it's supposed to sound like that) one
of us can probably supply an answer.

 One common mod down here where it's warm and many of us ride in
sneakers, is to replace the rider pegs with the wider Trophy (or
Sprint Executive) pegs; easier on the feet on long rides.

                   Have fun (as though you could help it);
