Dumb rules/laws

Want to hear something really crazy? Just rode a Ducati 900SS. The 2000
model has a sidestand cutout switch so that the engine won't run with the
stand down. Can't start it, can't let it sit in your driveway and warm up
while you put your gloves on. (Guess you could use your paddock stand.) Or
maybe the center stand...oops, there's not one of those!

Ducati finally got rid of the spring-loaded stand this year but gave us this
instead. One step forward, one back, IMHO.
