cabin fever -- so few good options

Hey Jay:
I've got the gerbing thin liner, the light gloves and the heat-troller.
They all work great, not cheap stuff though. Once you use them you feel
very justified in the expense. The gloves were the key for me. When
you first put them on you feel the wiring inside however, this is a non
issue when riding. The liner is awesome. Try to get the liner as close
to your skin as possible. I've had the best luck with silk underwear,
then the liner then your jacket. If it's real cold I sometimes add a
turtleneck and or sweater over the liner. Never felt bulky. Highly
recommend some kind of thermostat. I forgot mine once and plugged in
straight - so much heat I thought my hands were going to burn. The
liner is pre-wired for the gloves, pants and or socks. I've been
considering the socks but have heard mixed reviews. If you use a
thermostat you must maintain polarity with the accessory plug.

Here's to the heat,
Greg
