CF Hugger Install

Well, I started off ok - I will finish my paperwork, I will not go to the
garage - I will finish.... awww screw it......

A new hugger on the kitchen table is not conducive to the work frame of
mind. Well I can solve that - do the install and I won't have to think
about it anymore ;-) The old chain guard comes off by removing 5 bolts
(Greg - 4 are T30s). Two of the stock bolts have a little flange at the
top, so I widened the stock holes in the hugger slightly with a round
plastic file so that I wouldn't risk breaking the CF. I then pulled the
blanking plug installed on the right side of the swingarm and "offered up"
the hugger. Following Neil's instructions, I went in from the left (without
loosening any of the pannier brackets) and slid it along the tire - went in
rather easily. Once into rough position, I slid the front of the chain
guard under the rear brake line and slid the whole hugger as far forward as
possible. Then the brake line can be pulled around the back end of the
guard, where it falls into place. Add the 4 bolts and you are done. Even
with the filing it took all of 15 minutes.

Very nice.....

Now back to work :-(
