My Y2K bike did the same thing right out of the box, but after the first
100 miles or so it went away. It'll still occassionally happen if it's
been really cold out and I haven't ridden the bike in a couple of weeks,
but it's pretty rare. In fact, I can only recall two instances of it
happening outside the first 100 miles. (I have 3,300 miles on the bike
now.)

You're probably better off dealing with either vendor in person, but
folks have reported that that's especially true with Corbin.
