<< Hi all,
I just got done mounting the RMV for the standard Scottoiler and was
wondering where other folks decided to mount theirs. >>
Rocket Motorcycles in San Diego installed mine, and put it just to the left
of the licence plate, securing it with 2 zip-ties. Two holes had to be bored
in the plastic rear fender beside the licence plate for the zip-ties. The
filler opening on the resevoir faces outwards (to the left) making it
possible to fill the resevoir and adjust the flow without removing anything,
not even the pannier. The oil line curls up under the rear fender, then
forward and down to the chain-guard to which it is secured with more zip
ties, to position the outlet over the left side of the chain just in front of
the rear sprocket, and the vacuum line goes under the seat and tank to the
vacuum T connection under the front of the tank. The resevoir is visible from
the back, but looks quite sanitary and even trick, and the lines are covered
up. It works fine. Dave Collins, San Diego
