Once the brackets for the panniers is installed, even if the panniers are
removed the pipe stays in it's lower location unless the brackets are
removed. Apparently it takes a coupl eof hours to put the brackets on.

I pronounce panniers pan-ee-ays, but then I'm Canadian; we also pronounce
foyer the same way. Both of these words are french in origin, and like most
french words that end in er, the sound is "ay".
