for Troy - RS fairing graphics

Dear Troy;

         >>>I don't care overmuch for the RS fairing graphics<<<

            To my old, rheumy eye the RS stickers resemble nothing more
than a malignant, spreading tumor. Guess I'm too old to appreciate 'Bold
New Graphics'.

            All the little legal-liability-stupidstickers came off very
readily. The big RS on both sides of the fairing is another kettle of
very smelly fish. The decal is applied over the clearcoat but is
extraordinarily removal resistant. It seems to be made of an extremely
thin material that just crumples and breaks up as you remove it; seems
impossible to actually get under and peel it. I'm hoping my dealer can
offer some ideas; if anyone out there can help with this, please
respond. Off-list is fine!

            As I suspected, the Real Sprint is not perfect; today I
discovered an 'honest-to-God' design fault - there's no helmet lock!

                                          Cheers;

                                                ol T-bone   - - - o%\o
