	Doesn't it also say that you should test the kill switch every day?  Or
was that my old Daytona manual?  Anyhow, I test mine twice most days,
with no ill effects so far ;-)

	Talking of kill switches, a friend of mine was egging me on to attempt
kill switch backfires on the ST.  I didn't try it, partly due to
mechanical sympathy and partly because it occurred to me that if you
turn the engine off, surely that means no fuel injection and not the
remotest possibility of a backfire?
