The GenMar risers are (as I remember) 1.25" thick and actually have the
effect of raising the bars by 1.5" (approx.) as well as moving them back
by approx 0.5".  The precise numbers might be off by as much as 0.25" --
I'm going from memory and it has been 7 months since I had them
installed and did the measurements.
