You have good taste!  I prefer the look of the RS, too.

As far as ergos go, I think the RS riding position, although 
slightly sportier than the ST, is still comfortable.  I have no 
trouble with my 50 year old body handling 300+ miles days in the 
saddle.  To be fair, though, I did purchase a set of 3/8" bar 
risers from Hermy's (http://www.hermys.com/), as I found the 
stock position just a little too low.  The 3/8" is about all you 
can add to the RS, else the clip-ons will hit the fairing at 
full lock.
