Re: Brake Pads (Warning)

Hi,
I just changed my rear set and the pads on EBCs website are incorrect.
FA215/2 do not fit. The outside pads have the friction material on the wrong
side of the backing plate (mirror image). Trackstar in Minneapolis found me
some Full Metallic FA135R pads and they fit and work fine. Plus they had to
refund 50 cents from the price of the Kevlar pads ($31). Since I just put
them on a few day ago, I have no idea how they will hold up. I was down to
bare metal and it transported some material onto the rotor and there was
minor scoring. The metal pads scraped it clean, so now it just has the minor
scoring. Good deal as I plan to circumnavigate Lake Superior (taking my
sweet time) the first couple weeks of August.
