EBC HH pads always "sing" (Nice way of describing it BTW).
It has nothing to do with brake squeal, it's just a feature of the
sintered pads.

If you do it you should note > that it makes the brakes "sing" a
bit.
By singing a bit are you saying that they tend to howl under hard
braking? I noticed that a bit myself and was going to try to fit some
felt pads behind the backing plates next time I had the wheel off to
try and get that under control.
