Re: ST ergonomics

Tom,

I'm 6' 2" with a 33" inseam and I had a problem with my knees hitting the
fairing - my only real complaint with the bike. I found it annoying, but
not painful. In June, at Americade, I purchased a Corbin seat from their
trailer and I couldn't be happier, having now put about 4K Km on the new
seat.

The Corbin seat lets you sit about 2" further back; has a slight rise at
the front where the seat meets the gas tank; and has a fantastic grippy
cover. All of these design parameters prevent me from sliding forward into
the fairing lowers. The seat isn't cheap but, for me, was well worth the
investment.

Some riders don't like the Corbin seat; Sargent is another good
alternative.

Regards,

Paul Wilson
Toronto, Canada

PS. If you carry a passenger, the Corbin seat is significantly more
comfortable than the stock one.
