Re: helmet locks



     Way back when I was in college one poor unfortunate locked his helmet 
     to the side of his step through and headed off for a night on the 
     tiles. On his return he discovered his lid to be both wet and 
     malodorous. Guess the queues in the toilets must have been too much 
     for someone.
     
     Ever since, I always carry my lid or lock it in the pannier.

Why haven't our British friends included helmet locks? Do they not wear 
helmets across the pond, or just not steal them?
