Re: Tank Bags and Oil Type?



Mike the magnetic tank bag is a great idea except the tank is PLASTIC 
.Of course if you have discoverd a new type of magnet please patent 
it then let us in on it !  :-0)

As for oil, oh boy here we go... I use Motul 5100 15-50wt. This is an 
ester based semi synthetic. I was using Motul 300V full ester 
sysnthetic but it's way too expensive to change as often as I like, 
(I change oil ever 2K  miles just anal I guess) and I'd rather change 
more frequently with a less expensive oil.   Other good choices. 
Silkolene, Mobil 1, Bel-Ray, Motorex ( except they don't have a 15-50 
weight) Agip (sp) Just stick with a motorcycle specific oil you 
should be OK.
