I seem to remember someone saying that the cables went to a slightly longer
version at some point ? An easy way to check is to get you front wheel off
the ground (to unload the front suspension) remove your right bar and see
how much room you have. With mine, the most I could get was 3/4".

Rick Damiani was working on a set, but I am not suree how far he got with it.
