One of the chemicals in it doesn't break down and they've been finding that
it gets absorbed by people and animals and doesn't go away. It was a
proactive move on their part, they haven't found that the chemical causes
any harm, but generally it is not a good idea to have something non-organic
in your body that won't breakdown.
