RE: ST and heat

Howard,
Yes, it sure gets hot. But it only seems to happen (in my experience
anyway) in stop & go traffic. After my medium-rare commute last Thursday, I
hit the back roads over the weekend. Besides looking cool, the bike stayed
cool in the places that count - down by my knees. So all is forgiven, and I
fell in love with the bike again. ;-)

What mods did you make to fairing/belly pan?? May consider doing something
like this myself. Or is this in the list archive somewhere already?

Thanks,

Mort Harries

Hello Mort & Everyone:
This is a hot running bike. Yes, THEY ALL DO THIS!!! Now you may
begin to
understand why I did mods to my fairings/belly pan.
Suggest you take some hot dogs along so you can cook them if you get
hungry.
Stay cool!
