RE: Martin's trip

Ann,
I have been stung twice. By good luck both were bees and none of them
survived the impact to truly plant their stinger. I have been hit in the
cheek and on the neck and the neck was by far worse. Something about
stinging cells being place on the skin at about 100MPH combined speed that
really allows them to penetrate!

Has anyone had the unfortunate experience of having been stung on the face
whilst wearing a half open visor on a full face helmet? (like I have last
summer). Very painful experience and I had to do an emergency stop to rip
off my helmet to get rid of the wasp. After that, I determined to suffer
the
heat when in sus country areas. Ann
