Texas SS1000?

	Well, I've still not done a SaddleSore 1000, but after taking a serious
look at planning one I have an even greater appreciation of just how far 1,000
miles really is. Even here in the great state of Texas, it's a pretty large
portion of the state you'd cover to get a loop of 1,000 miles. Here's a couple
of possible routes, for those that know east/central Texas (mileages are from
the Rand McNally website):

Houston	->	San Antonio	198
San Antonio	->	Del Rio	155
Del Rio	->	San Angelo	158
San Angelo	->	Abilene	93
Abilene	->	Dallas	187
Dallas	->	Houston	240

		total: 1,031

Houston	->	Beeville	185
Beeville	->	San Antonio	105
San Antonio	->	San Angelo	212
San Angelo	->	Abilene	93
Abilene	->	Dallas	187
Dallas	->	Houston	240

		total:	1,022

Kudos to those who've actually done it!
